
Parkinson Disease
Primary care physicians will encounter increasing numbers of patients with Parkinson disease as the population ages. Improvement in diagnostic accuracy leads to better clinical care in terms of educating patients and families, choosing appropriate treatment and eventually, when neuroprotective therapies become available, instituting earlier therapy.
