Addressing the professional practice gap

The American Medical Association is pleased to present AMAprimarycare.org, an educational resource for primary care physicians designed to provide practical, certified educational programs to help physicians apply new knowledge and strategies to improve patient outcomes.

AMAprimarycare.org delivers a variety of multimedia educational programs that are designed to improve physician competency by providing new evidence-based strategies and to improve performance by assisting physicians on approaches to modify their practice. These programs are intended to provide physicians with a longitudinal learning experience that will evolve and address the educational needs of physicians through their participation in programs, their feedback on the material presented, and their responses to pre- and post-self-assessment questions. Based on these identified needs, the AMA will develop future programming that will specifically address educational gaps in primary care.

These programs are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
